Charlie's Produce

Charlie’s College Dream Program

Charlie’s Produce believes that everyone deserves an education, and that we shouldn’t have to sell an organ to pay for it! And, most importantly, our children should not be saddled with crippling debt on the day they graduate from college.

That’s why Charlie’s started our College Dream Program. We will pre-pay for 100% of your college tuition through our partner university American Public University for any degree program from Associates to Masters. And we take it step further by offering this amazing benefit to the dependent children of our employees!

What our employees have to say about our college program

  • Had you considered going back to school prior to the roll out of the Charlie’s College Dream Program?

Yes - I have worked for Charlie's Produce for 10 years and during that time I have had three amazing managers. Jeff Larson is the most recent manager that I have had the pleasure of working under. I have worked for him for 6 years and he has been the most influential leader that I have probably ever worked for. Mr. Larson has pushed me to do work tasks that I have thought I was not able to do. He convinced me to go to school in the spring of 2015 during a sit down between him and me. In the fall of 2015 Charlie's announced that the company was starting a way for employees and their family to attend college.- Ericka Malek, Charlie’s Seattle
  • How do you feel the completion of your degree will change or benefit you on a personal/professional level?

The completion of my degree will benefit me greatly on both a personal and professional level. I feel that more education and exposure to new ideas, theories, and challenges provides me with the knowledge to accomplish my work tasks and goals in more organized and efficient manner. I have been able to apply my learning directly to the job that I am doing, so that has been a tremendous reward.- Martes Campbell, Charlie’s Seattle
  • What has been the most rewarding part of your college experience while attending APU as a Child of an Employee?

I feel like the most rewarding part is knowing that all the hard work that I am currently doing will someday benefit me in the future. I would also say that my grades so far have been good, which shows the effort that I have been putting into the classes.- Andrew Garcia, Dependent Child of Seattle Employee
  • How do you feel about the College Dream Program?

Charlie’s made it possible for my daughter to obtain her Masters degree. In a million years I would have never thought the company I worked for would have a program for my children to go to college for free.- Dave Davis, Parent and Charlie's Employee
"I hope children take advantage of this opportunity…Thank you to Charlie's Produce for this. The doors are already opening and I feel so lucky to have been a part of the program."
